Kingfisher Airlines Flights From Bengaluru to Mysore

Kingfisher Airlines, India’s only Five Star airline rated by Skytrax, today launched direct flights connecting Bengaluru and Mysore. The direct flights will operate daily except on Saturdays. The launch of this new route marks the first time that an airline will connect Mysore and Bengaluru.

The Hon. Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri B S Yeddyurappa and Dr. Vijay Mallya, MP and Chairman & Managing Director, Kingfisher Airlines Limited and a host of other dignitaries flew on the inaugural flight from Bengaluru to Mysore and back.

Commenting on the launch of this new route, Dr. Vijay Mallya, said, “I am delighted that we have commenced flights between Bengaluru and Mysore. The launch of this new route is an important milestone for Kingfisher Airlines and a very special moment for me personally given the place of pride that Mysore has in our glorious State. Our convenient flights will make it easier for people to travel to and from Mysore and connect with the vast network of Kingfisher Airlines via Bengaluru. Linking Mysore via air with Bengaluru and other key cities in India will provide an impetus to tourism, trade and commerce and make Mysore an even more attractive destination for the IT industry, tourists and others.”

Guests flying on this route can now look forward to the award-wining Kingfisher experience at very attractive and competitive fares. The flights between Bengaluru and Mysore are being operated using the ATR family of aircraft and will offer the Kingfisher Red service. The Kingfisher Red service is a unique class of low fare flying from Kingfisher Airlines and offers guests a whole host of benefits. The Kingfisher Red service features complimentary hot, delicious food and a choice of beverages, reading material, frequent flier privileges and multiple check-in options.

Kingfisher Airlines’ flight IT 2404 will depart from Bengaluru at 12 noon and arrive at Mysore at 12.45 pm. From Mysore, flight IT 2407 will depart at 2.20 pm and arrive at 3.10 pm in Bengaluru.

This new direct flight will offer travellers from Mysore a one-stop connection to Goa, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Pune, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, Kochi and Mumbai via Bengaluru. Travellers from Mumbai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Pune, New Delhi, Goa, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangalore and Kolkata will now have a convenient one-stop connection to fly to Mysore via Bengaluru.   1. It seems positively unnatural to travel without taking a camera along... The very activity of taking pictures is soothing and assuages general feelings of disorientation that are likely to be exacerbated by travel.
