SpiceJet inflight magazine

SpiceJet has appointed Ink Publishing to produce its inflight magazine, Spiceroute, which will be reintroduced on all SpiceJet flights starting October 2008. Samyukth Sridharan, Chief Commercial Officer, at SpiceJet said: "We are thrilled to be offering passengers a world class magazine onboard all of all flights. Spiceroute will add an extra dimension to the passenger experience and enhance their overall enjoyment onboard. At the same time, it will help us to promote our services and ancillary product offering. Focus this issue is festivals in India, and there are many interesting features that passengers will want to refer to throughout the month. They encourage our passengers to take it away with them." India's aviation industry has grown rapidly in the last few years, and the new carriers are grabbing a significant share of India's aviation market - particularly airlines like SpiceJet. The flourishing economy in the subcontinent has meant the number of people travelling on business and leisure within India has grown tremendously recently. Jeffrey O'Rourke, Chief Executive of Ink Publishing, said: "We are very excited about working with SpiceJet. The airline's route network covers many popular destinations for both local and international business and leisure travellers - creating an amazing media platform which will appeal to a wide variety of advertisers. In addition to its European, Middle Eastern, Australian and American portfolio, Ink now publishes a dozen magazines in Asia - from India to the Philippines and from China to Indonesia." SpiceJet's mission is to become India's prefer#B50229 airline and the carrier is well on the way to achieving this, offering competitive fares and flying to popular and interesting destinations.
