The World Cup frenzy is catching on. While eight Teams prepare to emerge victorious, be the next champion and lift the coveted trophy, Air India has decided to add to the Cricket mania by extending a 50 per cent discount on travel in the Economy Class.
This 'cricket special promotional offer' would be on offer between 15 February 2011 and 5 April 2011. Announcing this an Air India official said: "Fifty per cent discount would be available on the basic one way normal Economy Class fares and Easy fares on our domestic network." However, those buying tickets under this scheme would have to pay other charges like Fuel charge, Passenger service fee, User development fee, etc.
Saying that the special offer was for the young and the elderly, the spokesman said: "Passengers below the age of 30 years and those above 63 years of age, on the date of commencement of journey, would be eligible to avail this cricket special promotional offer."
